The Ram Bihari Palace is a newly renovated heritage hotel in Alwar, Rajasthan, overlooking the picturesque Siliserh Lake and the famous Sariska nature forest. Its location on the golden triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur makes it easily accessible and a convenient stop for travelers. In 2016, hospitality professional turned hotelier, Ram Kaushik, took up the task of restoring the lost glory of the three-hundred-year-old palace. The result is an architectural marvel that boasts of the same aesthetics, construction dynamics, and materials used during the time of its owners, the Rajput Kings.
The seventeen tastefully appointed rooms are designed based on the principles of vaastu, showcasing local artisan excellence and motifs that subscribe to both Rajput and Mughal styles. The classy décor and temperature control provide a great in-room experience, while the highly trained staff offers contemporary interpretation of world-famous Rajasthani hospitality. Visitors can also appreciate the hotel’s art collection, featuring pieces from leading international artists who have both created and consumed fine-art on site.
