Akshardham Temple in Vaishali Nagar Jaipur is a unique beautifully carved temple solely dedicated to Hindu Lord Narayana. It is very popular not only among tourists but among the locals.
Akshardham Temple Jaipur
It reflects the rich tradition of Rajasthan and divinity of Hindu deity Swami Narayana. Before you get it wrong, it’s not an ancient temple, rather built in the 21st century itself. But, it’s part of other similar temples dedicated to Lord Narayana around the country.
Akshardham Temple History – The first temple was built in Delhi which is amazingly crafted by hundreds of craftsmen. It was founded by Bochasanwasi Shree Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sansthan.

- Hari Mandapam – where a 7 feet tall Gold leafed idol of Lord Swami Narayana is situated. This is the main area of worshipping and meditating. The statue is decorated with gold and silver ornaments.
- Vibhuti Mandapam – Being a Hindu devotee we know that God Narayana is fond of lotus flowers hence he is offered lotus in daily prayers. But this section reveals the exquisite-lit brass lotuses which are soothing to eyes.
